The idea is simple—repurpose your unused laptops to provide a keiki (child) with a much-needed tool for online learning at home. Many homes don’t have a computer, relying solely on shared devices for access, which can make schooling difficult.
If you have an older that you’re no longer using, we’d love to repurpose it! It just needs to be able to boot up to the desktop and come with its charger. If you’re planning to upgrade soon, I’d be glad to put your old laptop to good use for the keiki.
As a bonus, I’ll help you transfer your data to your new computer for FREE. I’ll securely wipe your data from the old laptop and, if you provide a USB thumb drive or external hard drive, I’ll back up your files before repurposing. It’s a win-win!
Laptops are especially helpful since they’re compact and save me from needing extra monitors, keyboards, and other accessories that take up space.
From 2020-2024, we have distributed and repurposed 250 computers/tablets to our local students. Generous monetary donors provided funds to purchase parts and accessories to upgrade and restore non-working parts.
