Aloha! Our Early Head Start Program is seeking talented and qualified individuals for the following positions:
Health Manager
Under the general supervision of the Early Head Start Director, the Early Head Start Health Manager is responsible for: program and staff health support; entry, tracking, and monitoring of health data; preparing reports; and assisting in maintaining tracking systems. This position will support the health component of the program including developmental support, mental health support, and disabilities support to enrolled participants, as well as support to staff in the areas of self-care and mental wellness.
40 hours per week
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
Home Visitor
Under the general supervision of the Area Manager, Early Head Start Home Visitors are responsible for: planning, with the family, an individualized program that meets the needs of the child and family; supporting families in becoming their child’s first teacher; identifying family goals and assisting in the planning and execution of steps to achieve said goals; identifying family needs and connecting families to available community resources; conducting child development screenings, assessments, and observations; ensuring that children stay up to date on medical requirements such as well baby checks, immunizations, dental appointments, etc. following EPSDT guidelines; collection of documentation from various community partners; accurate data entry into multiple databases to document observations and other activities conducted during home visits.
30 hours per week
Minimum of a Home-Visiting CDA or Associate’s Degree is required.
Lead Teacher
Under the general supervision of the Center Supervisor, Lead Teachers are responsible for the care and supervision of up to six infants and toddlers, ages six weeks to thirty-six months, in a classroom setting. Lead Teachers are responsible for the planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and experiences, as well as obtaining documentation and maintaining records for enrolled children.
30-40 hours per week
Minimum of a CDA or Associate’s Degree is required.
COVID Response Coordinator
Under the general supervision of the Early Head Start Director, the COVID Response Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination of COVID-19 response services. Duties will include: compiling learning packets for families, coordinating food distributions and linkages to community food security supports, coordinating virtual socialization experiences, completing inventories of PPE/cleaning supplies for the program, and coordinating mental health support services for staff and families.
Up to 12 hours per week.
Spanish or Marshallese Speaking a plus (for all listed positions).
