In early September, the Youth Development program of Family Support Hawaii (FSH) was contacted by Peoples Advocacy for Trails Hawaii (PATH). They were calling to ask us if we knew of families that would be interested in receiving a bike for a five or six year old child.

We, in turn, contacted the Family Support Hawaii management staff for recommendations of families that might be interested in receiving a bike. Three families expressed an interest in a bike, and each of these families now has a happy child enjoying a new bike. PATH delivered the two blue and one pink Huffy bikes and Bell helmets to FSH, and the families picked them up from us.

We extend our thanks to the donors of the bikes, Jon and Chris Thornham of FLO Cycling in Las Vegas, Nevada, and also to PATH for contacting us and for delivering the bikes. Again, a Big Mahalo especially to Jon and Chris.
