Aloha and Happy Holidays! While we are busy with our work supporting the individuals, children and families of Hawaii Island, it is important to me to stop and reflect on you, our donors, to make sure you know how much you are appreciated.
Thank you, the support you provided to Family Support Hawaii assisted us to provide much needed services to homeless youth, teen mothers, toddlers, infants, youth, fathers and mothers. In 2014 we provided assistance to 1,900 community residents, people who would not have anywhere else to turn to.
Kalikimaka No Na Keiki, which collects gifts from community members and distributes the gifts to children in families that are struggling to make ends meet is an example of one of our programs that benefitted from your donations. Below is a thank you letter written by one of the children who received a gift from this program, the young author states his sentiments for the program so much better than I can.
